Role Purpose

Develop content that supports campaigns/projects/events for internal and external audiences, leveraging one or more marketing and/or communication channels to further the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops communications and marketing plans to support organizational and departmental business plans for internal and external audiences. Demonstrates understanding of department/HSO communications objectives and creates plans for review by senior members of the C&M team. Implements approved plan objectives.
  • Conducts research, interviews, writes, obtains approvals, coordinates production of collateral materials, and coordinates distribution to audiences using appropriate communications vehicles, media outlets and social media channels. Works with creative services team and other support members to ensure alignment of communications collateral with plan objectives.
  • Collaborates with key internal and external clients and other partners to facilitate effective communications & Marketing planning and execution. Includes C&M colleagues, HSO clients, community relations partners and/or news reporters, and others. Represents C&M department in meetings.
  • Develops and implements multi-channel projects/campaigns, events/communication plans for internal and external audiences. Sets and meets or exceeds all individual and team deadlines.
  • Tracks metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns/projects/events. Recommends and executes improvement tactics.
