Senior Specialist, Technology Product Manager*

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Specialist, Technology Product Manager in New York, NY, to coordinate product management, development and marketing processes for multiple large products or one complex product by developing project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing and developing real time financial systems using CICS, MQ Series, DB2, VSAM, C/Flow in a Parallel Sysplex Mainframe complex; Utilizing Product Lifecycle, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery with execution tools JIRA/Confluence; Architecting, designing, implementing automation and modernization solutions using distributed solutions using Web Services and RESTFUL APIs; Building, scheduling, and monitoring nightly batch accounting processes, ledger postings, client reporting, archival processes, account synchronization and database maintenance jobs within the applications, using tools including JCL and ESP job scheduler; Conducting banking application system enhancement, data extract and reporting requirement requests, and developing technical requirements and resulting specifications; and Performing proactive system capacity and availability monitoring and analysis, and application performance tuning while utilizing troubleshooting tools including CA INSIGHT, SYSVIEW, DUMPMaster, SAR, WSF.
