In this role, the successful candidate will understand Amazon’s Cross Border Transportation Network and manage integrating third party (3P) carriers into the Amazon network. A successful candidate will engage multiple cross-functional teams, convert business needs into technical requirements, influence project prioritization, and manage end-to-end carrier deployment projects. In this role, the individual is expected to adopt the supply chain design and engage carrier partners and internal tech, non-tech, and operational teams to gather requirements, scope, and execute the project. The individual will execute the project plan to accomplish key milestones and deliver the project within specific timelines. Responsibilities include 1) end-to-end project ownership, 2) following best practices for carrier onboarding/deployment, 3) launching and ramping the supply chain solution, 4) monitoring performance through metrics, 5) communicating project status updates to leadership, 6) stabilizing operations, and 7) transitioning the program to operations.
This role does not require the ability to write technical code, however, communicating with technical teams will be critical. Ability to write and manage a detailed project plan, drive implementation of the plan, and ensure adequate testing is done throughout the process, is a must. The candidate will thrive off waking up daily and determining how well we performed to our goals, and how we satisfied Customers. Functional knowledge of data and analysis tools, standard deviation fundamentals, and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses will be integral to this role.
This position has the option to be located in Bellevue, WA, Nashville, TN, or Tempe, AZ.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
