About the Measurement Solutions Team
Measurement Solutions leverages data & analytics to measure marketing performance and drive action to maximize the impact of marketing
- We unlock enterprise value for clients through the adoption & use of actionable and impactful data solutions and measures of marketing success
- We implement, drive client buy-in, and drive usage of Ovative Measurement products & approaches (eg: EMR), & future O/g measurement products to maximize media impact
- We validate and unlock additional opportunities through testing and advanced analytics
- We work side by side with client and media teams to maximize marketing performance
About the Role
In this role, you will serve as a critical thought partner and driver to the Measurement team and the Ovative leadership team on new, innovative measurement approaches. This includes, but is not limited to: upper funnel marketing measurement, connected TV measurement, paid influencer measurement, etc. As a leader in the marketing measurement space, Ovative is continuously looking to solve new measurement challenges. This work will be a key driver of our ongoing differentiation in the market. This role will drive research, new measurement strategies & approaches, inform development of new measurement solutions, and more to keep Ovative in this leadership position in the marketplace.
Also in this role, as a senior leader, you will play an important part in supporting the Measurement team’s efforts to deliver great client work and drive business growth, while also coaching and developing the team. While this position does not immediately include direct reports, all senior leaders are expected to coach and develop more junior team members on client engagements and internal projects, as that is where the magic happens.
Responsibilities of a Measurement Solutions Senior Manager
- Measurement Innovation Lead:
- Develop Ovative’s strategy & roadmap for how to evolve its measurement capabilities to tackle new measurement challenges/innovation.
- Deliver on that strategy/roadmap of measurement innovation by leading
- multiple marketing investment workstreams by scoping, identifying workplans, and developing deliverables; Deliver on project plans in-partnership with other teams at Ovative / Ovative leadership
- Work with leadership to review services, identifying areas for improvement and altering strategies and scope
- Lead strategy of Ovative’s Marketing Measurement Investment roadmap
- Develop and deliver research briefs, forward-looking POVs, and measurement solutions, using creative problem-solving, strong critical thinking skills, and analytical excellence, sometimes through directing Measurement team(s) to support you
- Structured thinking:
- Address complex, open-ended analytics requests in a structured manner
- Identify & focus on what matters most to move the client’s business forward
- Structure activation work and communication to drive most critical/fundamental business goals
- Subject matter expertise:
- Apply best practices to analyze media performance & measurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop deep understanding of marketing measurement technology and how it impacts data/analytics/clients-business
- Keep up to speed on industry marketing investment (eg: What are our competitors doing to advance their marketing measurement?)
- Measurement Solutions Team Leadership & Empowering Others:
- Define and drive strategy across team structure, roles, development, and clients
- Work with internal Ovative teams to come up with marketing solutions/value-add plays
- Provide business development support relative to your marketing measurement expertise, assisting with strategy/messaging and liaising with prospective clients to refine scopes of work
Experience Needed
- Requirements:
- 5-7 years (or 2-3 years + MBA) of experience working within marketing
- Deep knowledge about marketing measurement
- Must be able to thrive working in ambiguous situations and problems
- Able to connect complex marketing data & situations into tangible business path forward for Ovative
- An entrepreneurial spirit – thrives in early stage roles and focus areas; passion for bringing new ideas to life
- Preferred:
- Experience with digital marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, ViQ, etc)
- Experience working with MMM/MTA marketing models
- Experience communicating and partnering with high-level partners (Directors, VPs, CMOs, CFOs, etc)
Pay Transparency
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Sr. Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $111,000 to $186,000, which is inclusive of a 25% bonus.
