BUSINESS MANAGER – BIS
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Business Manager for Central Operations will report to Manager of Planning and Initiatives and will directly support the agenda for the Leader of Central Operations, an organization that supports Front Line business partners and operations functions across all of City National Bank. Responsibilities are multi-faceted and will include managing delivery and execution plans against expense reduction, executive sponsored program reporting, and location strategy. Other responsibilities will also include the creation of executive level communication (c-suite) and strategic pro-active planning against executive agendas spanning business and people agendas. Expertise with PowerPoint and executive communication (written and oral) is a must. Familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
Banking and Investment Services Division
Banking and Investment Services plays an integral role in leading the strategic vision and execution of all banking operations. Our servicing and operations professionals partner closely with all of our lines of business to carry out critical functions, including client/deposit servicing, contact center operations, payments processing, and trade and lending operations, while identifying and mitigating risk throughout the organization. Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Managing delivery and execution plans against expense reduction, executive sponsored program reporting, and location strategy
- Creation of executive level communication (c-suite) across a variety of topics, initiatives and focus items
- Strategic pro-active planning against executive agendas spanning both business and people agendas
- Provide direct support to both the head of Central Operations as well as the Head of Banking and Investment Services
- Develops project plans and executes within approved time and budget.
- Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success.
- Manages risk by ensuring reviews and sign offs from appropriate stakeholders
- Works cross-functionally with technical, business, and compliance counterparts

Compensation
Starting base salary: $92,114 – $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
