What you will be doing

The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for spearheading product launches and supporting the growth of specific Health & Wellness product lines, from conception to execution.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience and serve as a strategic partner between product and business teams. Working closely with the product teams, you will provide critical market and customer insights throughout the Tech and Product Development process, ensuring that we build the right products for the right customers. In partnership with the business teams, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and craft compelling messages and stories that drive customer acquisition and adoption.

In collaboration with the product, customer insights, marketing, and operations teams, you will also play a key role in shaping the overall product strategy. You will develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan for Albertsons’ product and service portfolio, driving highly impactful programs that increase product adoption and foster mutually beneficial relationships with our customers and business partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing go-to-market plans and growth strategies for national products, both for consumer and partner audiences. You will manage the planning and execution of new product and service launches, working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation. Additionally, you will partner with Product and Marketing leads on existing products to increase utilization, adoption, and drive exceptional customer experiences.

Main responsibilities

  • At least 3 years of experience in product marketing with a focus on consumer marketing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth. You have experience with rigorous multivariate testing.
  • Expertise in market research, with the ability to gather and integrate information about the market, customers, and competition into growth strategies.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across different channels and match the message to the medium.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a bias toward action and the ability to simplify complex concepts and ideas.
  • A talent for articulating the essence of products and the value they provide. You can create effective messaging hierarchies and develop content strategies. You also have copywriting skills.
  • Grittiness and perseverance, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

The salary range is $82,900 to $107,680 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for

  • Product Marketing or Marketing experience in the eCommerce, Retail, or Marketplace sectors
  • Health, Wellness, Nutrition experience is a plus
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
