The Boeing Company is seeking a Specialty Tours and Programs Coordinator in Mukilteo, WA to lead and facilitate Boeing’s special Tours and Programs portfolio. This includes a multi-site Very Important Person (VIP) tour program, internal, sponsored tour requests and other unique experiences delivered by the Boeing Future of Flight (BFoF) team. This role is based on-site in Puget Sound with remote oversight of other specialty tour locations.
This role will work closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to identify specific tour needs and align those needs with BFoF specialty tour offerings. Additionally, this role ensures that the operation of these tours is successfully executed in a manner that promotes the reputation of Boeing, delivers high quality visitor experiences, and maintains a well-informed tour guide workforce.
This position is deeply customer focused and responsible for premium service execution critical to enterprise business goals, as well as all support logistics. As the Program Coordinator, this position will ensure that cross-functional stakeholders and operational partners come together to deliver a high-quality experience, and work collaboratively with leadership peers to coordinate schedules and resources. This position will produce a diverse mix of public and private products through a variety of onsite facilities and virtual broadcast channels.
The selected candidate must be able to anticipate guest and tour resource needs, develop new procedures to meet the changing needs of the operation, discern work priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively manage program calendars and operations with little supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as primary point of contact for all specialty tours and programs
- Supports development of special program strategies, designs processes and operations to support approved strategies
- Intakes all special program requests for BFoF, works directly with business partners and external clients on itinerary, and coordinates program calendar
- Responds directly to customer inquiries, and collaborates with call center and BBE customer service teams to coordinate related special program guest communication
- Assists in the development and implementation of special projects, new experiences, and operational plans that align to department objectives, as directed by leadership
- Trains and coaches Visitor Relations personnel as needed to ensure that a consistent corps of cross-trained Guides and Content Specialists are available for all related programs
- Works with Employee Operations Lead proactively to ensure appropriate staffing for dynamic program schedule
- Ensures quality of content and delivery of tours and programs, confirming appropriate media training and policies are upheld, and enhancing the reputation of The Boeing Company
- Works with Tour Leadership team to ensure scripting, route and FAQ tools stays current
- Evaluates VIP tour route(s) and reception locations to ensure safe and premium quality experience for visitors
- Works with various site partners as needed to trouble-shoot daily disruptions, submit work orders, and remedy facility-related issues
- Works with Business Operations teams for VIP tour schedule and accommodations and prepare specialized logistics needs
- Maintains VIP program assets, vehicles and equipment, and ensures functionality of technology systems for virtual program operations
- Works with site, technology and operations focals as needed for system and equipment maintenance
- Works with Guest Experience leadership to manage ticket inventory and schedules for special onsite audience groups at BFoF
- Implements policies, procedures and documentation to ensure consistent execution of processes within workgroup in support of Future of Flight, Boeing and regulatory requirements
- Solicits and analyzes feedback on VIP and special program experiences through visitor interactions and other tools as developed
- Conducts site visits as needed
- Communicates visitor feedback to leadership and actively works to implement operational and content improvements
- Responds to and actively supports emergency operations as appropriate such as building evacuations, medical issues, etc.
- Addresses and reports safety issues or concerns
- Enforces company rules and policies regarding safety and security
- Tracks metrics accurately for all programs using ticketing systems and technology platforms, works with operations and technology teams to develop new systems as required
- Reports engagement and attendance metrics; provides analysis and projections using data
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience working on a program leadership team
- Experience in using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations or proposals to management and clients
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
- Experience in resolving scheduling conflicts
- Event planning experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $68,000 – $92,000
