Job Description
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
- Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity
- Work directly with clients to understand the individual needs of the business
- Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations
- Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion
- Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights
- Provide a unique perspective toward product development and the application testing process
- Play an integral role in analyzing, investigating and reporting on issues/bugs uncovered during the testing cycle
- Provide high-level test effort estimate
- Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Test, analyze and troubleshoot of applications
- Communicate and document software defects using the defect tracking system
- Perform integration, functional, performance and regression testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication to gather information about a business and create requirements and test cases.
- Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business to achieve quality & performance engineering goals
- Bring the quality consciousness, test leadership and customer advocacy
Qualifications
- Business experience and knowledge with software QA/testing practices and procedures
- Understanding and experience with QA controls and Automation tools
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Organized, analytical & methodical, process-driven, customer-centric, creative, problem-solver, purposeful, articulate, composed, empathetic, trusted, collaborative & passionate
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required or equivalent work experience.
Compensation:
The expected annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $110,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
