Ensures smooth and efficient on-boarding of new hires from acceptance of job offer through early employment. Includes completion of new hire documentation, scheduling of orientation program and gathering new hire feedback.

Job Responsibility

  • Acts as point person for all new hires; Ensures new hires are informed of all processes, requirements and expectations; responds to new hire questions regarding on-boarding and early employment issues.
  • Schedules new hires for all pre-hire activities including fingerprinting, I-9 verification, credentialing, EHS testing and other related new hire paperwork.
  • Ensures completion of on-boarding process to meet employee start date as well as Federal and State regulations.
  • Collaborates with Recruiting and Site Human Resources areas to schedule orientation as well as departmental employee orientation.
  • Distributes welcome packets and maintains supply of same.
  • Provides new hire on-boarding guidelines to department manager to ensure smooth department level orientation of new hires, including computer set-up, training, building orientation, certification time lines, etc.
  • Surveys new employees and managers, within established timeframes, to gather feedback regarding the on-boarding process, informational materials, resolve issues, and improve and streamline the on-boarding process.
  • Contacts new hires within established timeframes to gather information on their employment experience to date.
  • Resolve issues and report to Talent management on findings.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $41,780-$64,340/year
