Job Summary:
Support hospital management with assessment of strategic decisions through developing financial models. Assists in the development and analysis of reports supporting departments, programs and/or service line leadership. Oversees integrity of donor database systems, industry philanthropic surveys and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
- Three years’ accounting or finance experience: Preferred
- Three years’ experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Completes new product line research and market analysis. Prepares analysis and summary reports addressing specified requested needs in a timely manner. Effectively communicates results and findings of analysis to requestor and management.
- Creates financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed. Prepares pro forma analysis and presentations for equipment purchases, capital projects and new service line development. Assists in developing business plans for projects and programs.
- Assists in drafting reports and findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts. Participates in the development of presentations. Assists with researching various technical and industry specific issues.
- Assesses fundraising tracking systems to maximize efficiency and identifies and implements tracking of gifts systems where needed.
- Manages reviews during third party appraisals.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
