The Apartment Gallery is recruiting for a Remote Leasing Consultant working out of our Camelot Arms location in York, PA. This position is not work from home, but rather supports several communities from one centralized location.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be computer proficient, work well with others in a team setting, be an excellent communicator, and have strong writing and organizational skills.
Pay: Starts at $20/hour
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in computer technology including Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn and use other programs as needed.
• Professional demeanor and solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency and pressure sensitive situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and criminal background check
• Access to dedicated and reliable transportation
• Able and willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
• Assists with property operations and resident relations.
• Effectively communicate with residents, vendors, and other employees in a professional and courteous manner
• Responsible for all leasing and sales responsibilities
• Assist with research, implementation and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives ensuring the continuous flow of qualified traffic.
• Communicate with Property Manager, Assistant Director of Property Management, and Director of Property Management as needed to improve workflow.
• Assist management with property emergencies such as snow emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Conduct remote property inspections on a regular basis.
• Follow all company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws
• Assist other team members and complete other projects and duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Qualifications:
• Bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, lifting up to 15 pounds, stretching, squatting, and walking
Non-Essential Physical Qualifications:
• Running and lifting over 15 pounds
Authority:
• Recommend changes to the position and job duties which will improve efficiency and safety.
Relationships:
• Reports to the Property Manager
• Takes direction from the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and Director of Property Management
• Internal contacts: managers and associates
• External contacts: residents, and guests
