We are looking for an on-site Senior HR Generalist to support our Rochester, NY manufacturing facility. The Sr. HR Generalist will provide dedicated HR consultation, generalist, and recruiting support to our internal customers. This role works in conjunction with the Senior HR Manager of the business group and will also support smaller satellite manufacturing facilities in GA, CA, and CO.

Duties

  • Recruiting – full lifecycle ownership. Will partner with central recruiting team to guide selection process with assigned areas.
  • Employee Relations/Performance Management – Consult/coach managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs. Directly handle Employee Relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions.
  • Support leadership team of assigned function area(s) – HR research, project support, reporting and analytics, and champion HR culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Training – conduct new employee orientation and facilitate other HR training sessions as needed.
  • No direct reports but will delegate tasks to others and provide feedback on the performance of the support team.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role. Experience must include recruiting, employee relations, talent management, and training and development.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS)
  • Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices, and compliance issues.

Preferred Experience

  • Masters/MBA
  • HR certifications in recognized HR tools or development programs (MBTI, DDI, PHR, etc.) preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Pay range for this opportunity is $67,060.00 – $90,279.00.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
