Miller International, Inc., designer of Cinch® and Cruel® is searching for its newest team member at our office in Denver, Colorado! Our next Technical Designer (Entry Level) will need to possess excellent team skills, and basic garment fit and construction knowledge. Whoever fills this position will be responsible for supporting the entire Product Development Department. The person who fills this position also needs to have a passion for the work they do, and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Salary: $20.67- $24.04
As a Technical Designer, you would be responsible for:
- Assist senior team members in auditing sample garments and executing tech packets.
- Accurately measure proto samples, sales samples, and size sets and record into the PLM system.
- Provide inspection activity reports for product throughout the development cycle.
- Perform tests for colorfastness, dimensional stability, and application/durability of applied trims.
- Develop knowledge of fit intent, balance and construction.
- Identify potential production and quality issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity.
- Provide feedback on ways construction can be changed to accommodate a product or to produce a higher quality garment.
- Working knowledge of Illustrator.
- Foster open communication within the team and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
- Participate in team and cross functional team meetings.
Requirements
- 0-3 years Technical Design experience
- Denim experience a Plus
- Strong ability to work effectively both on a team and independently
- Sewing experience a Plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and ruler, and translate into fractions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, decimals; ability to compute percentages
- Excellent organization, and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to and embrace change
- Demonstrated initiative and strong business knowledge
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects and time lines within a fast-paced, often changing environment
- College degree required; emphasis in fashion design, textiles, or product development preferred.
