Barracuda is looking for a Sr. Benefits Administrator to manage our U.S. and Canada benefits plans. Based in the Campbell, CA office, the Sr. Benefits Administrator will play a key role on the HR Operations team driving our plans and improving the employee experience. This role will be temp to perm.
The ideal candidate must have the skills to take ownership and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This is an amazing opportunity to promote and implement benefit solutions and offerings to a dynamic and eager workforce.
What you’ll be working on:
- Work independently to manage the day-to-day administration of benefits, including but not limited to, our medical/dental/visions plans, 401(k), HSA/FSA, LOA, COBRA.
- Take ownership of the planning and organization of the annual Benefits Open Enrollment
- Collaborate with the payroll team, insurance brokers and external auditors to complete annual compliance filings including 5500’s, ACA forms, 401(k) and Workers Compensation audits and nondiscrimination testing
- Reconcile vendor and insurance premium invoices
- Maintain the OSHA log, manage and monitor all workers compensation claims with WC insurance carriers and brokers
- Provide timely and accurate guidance/assistance to employees with questions related to benefits
- Daily point-of-contact for all vendors including, benefits brokers, insurance carriers’ representatives, and miscellaneous vendors
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years relevant experience in a benefits role. Experience in Canadian benefits is a plus.
- Firm understanding of benefits administration and compliance. Attention to detail/accuracy is a must.
- Customer service mentality – possess a strong commitment to providing both our internal and external customers with the utmost level of care and service.
- Possess the skills to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate objectives and intentions when taking on any project or task.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate across teams.

At Campbell, CA only. The anticipated salary range for this role is USD $105,000 – $120,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
