Job Description/Job Summary

Works as a consulting team lead on client or internal assignments on Facets, QNXT, CCA and/or NetWorX product implementation, enhancement or integration projects. Plans and supervises the work of a small to medium sized team. Utilizes Professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Serves as a senior level pre-sales and post-sales technical support specialist when needed. Serves as a product expert to new clients during installations. Provides advice and expertise with regards to testing Facets, QNXT, CCA and/or NetWorX products as well as general testing process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customers’ business/technical requirements and software/product objectives; develops an application design to meet customers’ needs
  • Tests complex customer-specific solutions
  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully complete activities; develops project plan incorporating all project variables – 20%
  • Sees that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Helps in establishing criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
  • Provides supervision of 2 – 5 people
  • Conducts periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Monitors and adjusts project variables as necessary throughout project. Resolves issues timely and accurately and escalates as appropriate. Assists with re-forecas
  • Suggests improvements in service delivery processes and techniques and prepares weekly status reports on all project activities

Must Have skills

The position will be typically responsible for managing the following positions

  • Sr. Test Analyst
  • Test Analyst

Experience: Minimum of 4-7yrs related work experience.

  • Product Knowledge:
  • Facets, QNXT, CCA and/or NetworX as per the project requirements
  • Computer Skills:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Advanced mathematics aptitude
  • Advanced communication capabilities
  • Advanced organizational abilities
  • Advanced comprehension capabilities

Preferred skills

Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 -$114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
