JobSummary
Thisposition is a leadership and supervisory role for the Kid’s Club. Responsiblefor overseeing all duties and operational functions for the Kid’s Club, Nursery,Hideout and camp such as providing safe, secure, and happy environment forMembers, Guest, Children and Employees.
- Be a role model for Kid’s Club Attendants and Loft (Hideout) Attendants
- Be the leader at Kid’s Club, Nursery, and Hideout
- Train new staff members
- Oversee staff performance and report and issues or concerns to supervisor.
- Handle billing
- Create Schedules for the Kid’s Club, Nursery, and Hideout
- Construct interviews for the attendant positions
- Document usage of Kid’s Club, Nursery, and Hideout
- Manage Kid’s Club Supplies
- CREATES WOW by anticipating needs and wants, being prepared, being continuously enthusiastic, executing flawlessly and doing it now.
- Provide supervision and interaction to all children ages 6 weeks and older who are utilizing the Kid’s Club, Nursery, Hideout, and adjoining grounds.
- Ensure safety and happiness to all participants in the Kid’s Club, Nursery, Hideout, and Briar Club events/activities/programs.
- Meet and greet new and existing young members and their parents.
- Report and/or seek assistance for member/youth complaints as they arise.
- Properly clean, disinfect and maintain the playroom areas, including all toys, equipment, play surfaces, and other spaces.
- Maintain accurate records of all children within the playroom area. This includes having a medical form and release on each child, having signed in and out by parents and making sure all incidences involving the children are recorded and reported.
- Assist with feedings, bathroom duties, and additional responsibilities related to the Kids Club and Nursery
- Conduct oneself at all times in a manner of professionalism that aligns with the values, philosophies, and standards of the club. This includes being in a club approved uniform and nametag, coming to work on time, and good communication skills.
- Assist in the on-going development, planning, and execution of the Kid’s Club programs and events.
- Attend and help director instruct all scheduled employee meetings.
- Adheres to all various written mandatory standards of operation, policies, procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.
- Assist with other projects, club events, and duties for The Briar Club, as assigned.
- Assist in the growth of the youth department.
- Update director in all aspects of the Kid’s Club
- Perform any other work related duties as requested by the supervisor.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday-Saturday, approximately 40 hours per week.Must be able to work weekends holidays and as needed. Schedule may change atanytime due to business needs.
Qualification/Requirements:
- Customer service attitude
- Must be able to effectively communicate with members and their children
- Ability to multi-task
- General knowledge of youth fitness and nutrition guidelines
Education/Training/Experience:
- Background in early childhood development or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Certified in CPR/First Aid/ AED
