PAY RANGE: EBS Analyst I: $49,200 – $61,500

EBS Analyst II: $60,200 – $75,300

Sr EBS Analyst: $76,400 – $101,800

Lead EBS Analyst: $89,900 – $119,900

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

The Enterprise Business Systems department is looking for an EBS Analyst to join our team, responsible for leveraging data from PeopleSoft Financials, Power Plan, other data hub schemas. We are looking for an inquisitive, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual, who is willing to partner with, and advocate for the business, utilizing knowledge of the data to identify and recommend potential opportunities for improvement and automation.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated individual with good verbal communication and technical writing skills, disciplined and methodical quality assurance, and the ability to collaborate to refine data requirements and meaningfully translate data results. This position plays a key role in analyzing, documenting and reporting data related financial information. Experience querying databases and creating dashboards, Excel spreadsheets, formulas and pivots is a plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support the strategy to drive reporting and analytics for Finance and Accounting forward by thinking creatively and pushing the limits of all reporting and automation tools
• Design, build, test, and maintain dashboards and reports based on the requirements set by the business
• Prioritize, manage and facilitate all aspects of answering data requests from various parties and performing analytics and documentation to support data requests and other related projects.
• Work with other reporting teams to reduce the redundant/duplicated reporting efforts
• Maintain the prioritization list for EBS reporting requests
• Provide application expertise and support for numerous system applications/business functions
• Create visualizations to aid in understanding the meaning in data
• Understanding of accounting concepts is preferred
• Represent EBS team on process improvement projects ensuring automation needs are met through data and tool optimization

Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Management, Computer Science or equivalent • Three to five years of report designing and data querying including table joins preferred • Three to five years of FERC accounting experience preferred • Experience with FSCM systems, processes and technology

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required: • Evaluate and develop metrics to monitor and support process development and improvements. • Identify and quantify improvement opportunities and associated scenario development • Ability to present data in a meaningful manner for the business to make informed decisions • Lead and implement work projects, including managing multiple assignments concurrently • High competency in computer skills and database querying languages (SQL). • Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment and build relationships with all customers and work groups through strong client interaction. • Candidate must possess an intellectual curiosity about the data being analyzed. • Knowledgeable in visualizing and communicating data for technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to creatively use software tools like OBIEE, Excel Pivots, BI Publisher, Power BI, Tableau, etc. • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Reporting tools, VBA, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, SQL Developer and BI Publisher tools a plus. • Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of a project team as well as working in a self-directed and independent environment.

Working Conditions: Working conditions will vary. Must be able to work additional hours when necessary.
