As a Master Black Belt- LEAN, you will work with executive leadership to select and prioritize major transformational initiatives and large critical improvement projects to ensure the initiatives and projects align with strategic goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders from different organizational domains to form cross-functional project team and works with all level of organization to uphold quality of execution, to facilitate strategic thinking, and enable connectivity between teams involved in the major initiatives or projects to ensure on time delivery. You will use and promote Lean Six Sigma thinking, approaches, and tools on the supported initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Support executive leadership on major transformational initiatives and large critical improvement projects through advanced LEAN skillsets to ensure alignment with business strategic goals
- Structure and facilitate strategic thinking during project ideation and preparation and promote synchronized thinking among cross-functional teams
- Connect with different teams and guide the teams using Lean Six Sigma thinking, approaches and tools through developing initial proposals
- Collect, organize and analyze data to evaluate, improve and support proposed solutions
- Facilitate workshops during the initiative or project timeline to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Change Management to execute and adjust plans
- Manage an Enterprise portfolio including initiatives and projects intake, impact assessment, implementation easiness and project prioritization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred – Engineering, Logistics, Technical, or equivalent years of related experience
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt
- 10 years required, 15 years preferred of extensive Lean or Lean Six Sigma experience in medium or large company
- 5 years required of leading or managing large-scale strategic initiatives
- Master Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certified and able to apply these principles to business
- Ability to work with all levels of organization – from Executive level to front line employees
- Business knowledge on sales, operations, supply chain and support functions
- Strong facilitating skills – able to conduct any type of workshop with any level of participant
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills from preparing presentations and delivering results
- Experience in Project Management and Goal Deployment
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
- International experience is a plus
- Ability to travel 0-25% of the time
The expected salary range for this role is $115,300- $158,500. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. This position may be eligible to participate in the company’s incentive plan.
