Job Overview
Build a 360 approach to the customer to develop global communication initiatives for the Cardiac Assist and Cardiac Surgery portfolio as part of the ACT (Acute Care Therapy) business area – increasing lead generation based on Regional Marketing Communication, Global Sales and Business Areas input.
Safeguard a cross-Getinge and coordinated efforts of marketing communication covering around the covered product categories, using all types of subject matter experts, communication experts and creative services – internal and external – to create fit for purpose communication collaterals
Create, maintain, execute, and communicate – in close collaboration with applicable business areas, commercial operations, and regional marketing communication setups – plans for marketing communications activities on both strategic, tactical and operational level.
Drive and coordinate marketing value communications based on defined brand identity guidelines, tools, and platforms in alignment with the Business Area and in close collaboration with rest of the Communications & Academy team globally.
Ensure cascading of the global marketing communication messages for the respective area of responsibility (in US English) to and from the regional marketing communications
Monitor and control effectiveness and efficiency of marketing communications messages and continuously improve.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Proactively support Global Sales through the Regional Marketing Communications teams with Marketing Communications activities to drive sales activities
- Ownership of marketing communication launch plan for product launches and product life cycle activities working as a project-based organization
- Create content to drive value marketing communication based on the product value proposition
- Discover highly valuable content in close collaboration with the regional Marketing Communications teams and subject matter experts, to derive marketing claims, messages and visualization
- Within approved activities, and using external agencies to develop orchestrated and modular international content, including resourceful ordering of services (photography, graphic design, copywriting, channel use)
- Develop, manage, optimize appropriate content for websites, landing pages and social media including contribution to the editorial plan
- Define marketing impact measurements and actual outcome (including contingency planning and metrics)
- Ensure localization consistency based on red-amber-green (RAG) indicators with the high degree on modularity
- Define target group, communication objectives and detail target markets by working collaboratively with Global Sales and Business Area
- Drive content maintenance of existing marketing communication elements according to relevance (Extranet, MediaHub, getinge.com)
- Provide messaging and other inputs for internal and external events in collaboration with the business area – this includes trade shows, (virtual) roadshows, as well as intranet posts in collaboration for corporate communications
- Budget responsibility for approved marketing activities and manage vendor costs and execution for approved projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience from working close to the market and proactively supporting Sales
- Knowledge and/or experience from the healthcare/life science industry in the Marketing Communications
- Experience or knowledge of the hospital and clinical processes.
- Up-to-date, integrative marketing, advertising and communication knowledge (incl. digital) on an international scope
- Proven experience with digital sales tools
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong stakeholder management experience at all organizational levels
- Proven Marketing background in marketing communication
- Creative and strong business driven mindset with a great ability to develop effective storytelling
- Strong project management skills, ability to drive projects with high sense of urgency and effectiveness
- A stylistic ability with a very good sense for look and feel and tonality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capable to manage a defined set of marketing communication agencies with based on brand handbooks and guidelines.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and other Marketing Communication Content Management Systems
Supervision/Management Of Others:
- The position does not supervises/managers other employees.
Internal and External Contacts/Relationships
- The position is intended to ensure highest level of stakeholder management in all activities and projects.
- Primary “consumers” of the collateral coming from this position, are the regional marketing communication teams in 9 localizations around the world and throughout the Getinge localizations, as materials created by marketing communication managers are to be localized and activated by regions for end-customers globally
- Secondary stakeholders are business areas responsible owning the products and solutions and therefore create much of the input and schedule for the positions, as well as the global sales commercial operations teams
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions
- Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions
- Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
- Travel requirements of about 10%
For NJ/NY, the pay range for this position is a minimum salary of $90,000 and a maximum of $124,000 per year. Additionally the position is eligible for a 10% Short Term Incentive Bonus
