Clinical Engineer Intern

The Clinical Engineering (CE) intern will work directly with a team of experienced engineers to assist in the evaluation of next generation robotic systems and instruments used within the medical device space. We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of life sciences and complex electromechanical systems. Typical responsibilities will include supporting lab operating and product evaluation activities.

Responsibilities:

    • Support lab operations with development of new anatomically accurate test models as well as assisting in expansion of current facility capabilities.
    • Analyze customer feedback and incorporate it into new customer insights platform.
    • Participate in clinical assessment of various product prototypes, generate reports of results, and present to cross functional team members.
    • Perform high quality analytics-based research under the mentorship of CE team leaders
    • Coordinate with different teams and coworkers to accomplish tasks.

Requirements:

    • Recent graduate from a bachelor’s or graduate degree in life sciences or engineering
    • Currently enrolled (minimum of a Senior class standing) in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in life sciences or engineering
    • Prior internship or Co-op experience, recommended
    • Exposure to medical products and services
    • Experience in researching and summarizing data from disparate sources is a plus.
    • Internship will be conducted in-person as lab activities generally cannot be conducted remotely.

$20 – $40 an hour

Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan. Additional details on the compensation package and employee benefits offerings will be provided to candidates during the interview process.
