We are currently seeking a highly technical, super nerdy, and forward-thinking Sr. Manager, Corporate IT to lead our talented IT team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate technologist who is also an inspiring and effective leader.

Problems You Will Solve

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, driving innovation and operational excellence in the fintech industry.
    • Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT team of 6 people, ensuring they stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to online lending and financial services.
    • Manage the planning, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, security, endpoints and cloud services.
    • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s office and internal applications and systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
    • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure adherence to financial industry regulations and maintain a secure environment.
    • Establish and manage relationships with vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and service level agreements as needed.
    • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and strategic allocation of resources.
    • Lead the IT team in providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the IT team and across the organization.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and assess new technology opportunities and initiatives specific to the fintech space.

About You

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
    • At least 8+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role, preferably within fintech or another hi-tech industry.
    • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of emerging technologies and industry best practices in the fintech sector.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity in a regulated environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Experience in vendor and contract management, with the ability to negotiate favorable terms.
    • Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the financial services sector.

$125,000 – $216,000 a year

Compensation details: The salary for this position is $125k – 216k annually, plus bonus and generous benefits. In determining your salary, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
