The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Technical Editor who will support the AN/SQQ-89(V) system technical data requirements for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the NAVSEA Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5). This position is location in Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities – Work you’ll do:
- Work closely with AN/SQQ-89(V) SME’s, Logisticians, Tech Writers and other Technical Editors to support the creation of technical data.
- Provide expertise in document formatting, editing and revision.
- Demonstrate functional communication skills in describing complex and technical topics in a clear, concise, and complete fashion.
- Travel may be required for this position.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education – To Land This Gig You’ll Need:
- Requires Bachelor’s degree and less than a year of prior relevant (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Excellent written communication and grammatical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Preferred Experience – Extra Awesome If You Have:
- Experience with AN/SQQ-89(V) in either Operations or Maintenance.
- Experience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support.
- Prior experience with developing technical data for DoD programs.
- Experience working directly with technical SMEs.
Clearance Required:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $39,650.00 – $71,675.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
