The NA brand aligned VM Designers’ role is to tailor the Global Design intention to the NA needs. In close relationship with Global Creative team who issue the guidelines and with the use of Global assets, VM designers will work closely with Development, Indirect Procurement and Production Artist and Project Management Teams to create on budget/on time Merchandising elements for the Region.

Key Roles and Responsibilitie

  • In alignment with Global Visual Merchandising Design guidelines and using Global assets, create/adapt design of Merchandising elements to the needs of the North American Region
  • Align Design options with the Region’s specific budget
  • Provide clear and detailed schematics with 3D Software to enable turn over to external partners
  • Assist NA POS productions with IP & Technical Development Team
  • Create innovative VM concepts and corporate projects
  • Identify and suggest areas of improvements to increase visibility and brand presence at POS in the North American distribution using Corporate expertise
  • Generate competitive intelligence and stay abreast of internal/external VM best practices
  • Regularly visit stores and take pictures of newness in the retail environment

Qualifications:

  • Strong creative skills & Work experience in Luxury Creative VM Design for Cosmetics and Fragrances
  • Understanding of North American distribution (FSS, Department stores, Specialty Multi)
  • Strong Communication skills to articulate ideas and concepts through quality execution of 3D/2D renderings-Industrial Design/Interior Design background required
  • Proactive, organized and detail oriented with strong understanding of brand codes/materials
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple tasks and varied personalities
  • Enthusiastic and proactive orientation with a “can do” attitude
  • PC/MAC software: Adobe suite, InDesign, Microsoft office, Rhinoceros, Maxwell Render, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max
  • Minimum Education level: BA or BS in Architecture, Industrial Design or Interior Design.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 + years
  • % Travel Time:0 to 5%

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $133,000. Exact salary depends on several

factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on

geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a

highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance

and company results.
