Job Description:
Onsite Lab applications Support Lead works independently, as well as part of a team who is responsible for all aspects of supporting the applications at customer site, helping them resolve issues on the fly and co-ordinating with various teams to delegate the tickets. You will work hand in hand with the research scientists at our customers, and teams throughout the project to implement our solutions, and ensure our customers are successful.
Qualification: (minimum experience 8-10 years in R&D/Pharma – IT )
• Experienced in managing any research related applications and supporting Research lab and desktop software
• Experienced in supporting operational excellence and employee experience for scientists
• Should be able to manage infrastructure (AWS, Linux Server, Desktop) related issues and co-ordinate with the concerned team to troubleshoot the incidents.
• Works with the business team to identify the right business problem, gather the requirements and data required to answer the same.
• Host and drive calls with System owner, Application Tech lead, Service Owner and Various infrastructure groups.
• Coordinate activities/calls with System owner, Application Tech lead, Service Owner and Various infrastructure groups.
• Involve in application related incident management and service request management activities (as applicable)
• Proactively identifying ways to avoid recurrence of customer issues by regularly improving the processes, reviewing KB articles, and recommending changes.
• Should have knowledge and work experience with of Incident, Change and Problem Management, ITIL process, CSV Validation, GxP compliance.
• Involve in application related incident management and service request management activities (as applicable)
• Involve in packaging/distribution of the application post CCB approvals (as applicable)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 USD- $120,000USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
