About the Role:
The Paid Social Manager is a critical member of the Barron’s Group Paid Media team and will implement paid campaigns to drive subscriber growth across multiple social platforms including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat etc. This role is highly collaborative and will work across the organization with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and to measure success.
You Will:
- Create an effective strategic framework across paid social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat etc..
- Optimize strategies for each channel to improve performance and ensure the KPI goals are met; manage budget accordingly to maximize returns.
- Optimize large media budgets across social platforms and markets to maximize acquisition volume, increase audience reach and retain current members.
- Find ways to use Social media and content to deepen our relationship with our audiences in the US and internationally, to drive subscriptions, grow our digital/social channel footprint, and leverage all organic marketing efforts to reach users in meaningful and engaging ways.
- Actively report, track and optimize performance of social media campaigns. Make recommendations and provide updates to the Marketing Team.
- Partner with Data and Insights, Analytics, and Technology to gather data and establish new reports/dashboards.
- Work closely with platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) and vendors (e.g., agencies) to identify opportunities; understand their best practices and recommendations for improving paid social at Dow Jones.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in social media paid experience.
- Prove experience identifying meaningful, actionable insights within past successful social media campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects, and campaign management.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of seeking out and building the necessary relationships throughout the league to achieve success.

Pay Range: $65,000 – $200,000
