DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop a variety of cutting-edge, quantitative tools to enhance JPMC’s investment process. Conduct research and ad-hoc analysis on performance attribution, risk management and portfolio construction. Run the governance process to ensure a consistent asset allocation/risk budgeting process. Work closely with Portfolio Managers and other business partners to address the issues arising from the daily portfolio management process and the new product launch process. Work with Technology partner to implement the models. Build production-level application with large dataset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analyst, Commodity Trader, Investment Banking Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Quant Analyst, Commodity Trader, Investment Banking Associate, or related occupation. The employer will accept pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree experience.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Data vendors, including, FactSet, BARRA, eVestment, Morningstar, PerTrac, and Bloomberg databases; MATLAB; Python; VBA; SQL; Equity, fixed income, FX and commodity markets; Financial products, such as, ETFs, Mutual funds, Hedge funds, or structured products; and Statistics including across-sectional and time-series regression. Experience in the skills may be gained through pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree experience.

Full-Time. Salary: $145,000 -$200,000.00 per year
