Job Description
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Revenue Integrity, Senior Project Manager to work remotely within our footprint states: AK, CA, MT, OR, TX and/or WA.
The Senior Project Manager Revenue Integrity/CDM is accountable for managing medium to large projects, diverse and/or complex which primarily include the implementation and management of enterprise services across internal and external Providence St. Joseph Health customer sites, (including Community Technology Partners), as well as internal projects for the central RI/CDM team. Partners closely with sponsors/leaders at each customer site and enterprise colleagues critical to successful project completion / implementation (such as Chargemaster, Revenue Integrity, Finance, Epic IS Applications, Coding, Business Office, Clinical operations, and other operational functions related to enterprise RI/CDM services).
Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to RI/CDM leadership. Ensures projects are planned, managed and executed in a manner that satisfies customer expectations and RI/CDM stakeholder obligations. Assembles implementation teams and manages the activities the teams are responsible to deliver, anticipating potential challenges, helping to remove barriers and escalating issues when needed. Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact as it relates to project implementation activities, the Senior Project Manager effectively monitors, documents and communicates status and progress. Skilled at using effective communication and change management best practices to ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the process, as well as prepared and ready for project launch. The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Providence St. Joseph Health mission, integration and collaboration across the health system, and meets organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educ/experience
- Training in project management, change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g. PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, CQIA, etc.)
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information
- Upon hire: Six Sigma (Lean Belt or Green Belt) Certification
- 5 years project management experience managing complex projects and/or programs using PM methodologies and software, managing projects with multiple project teams, managing process standards and project objectives
- Presentation and facilitation experience. Experience making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders
- 3 years Proficiency managing virtual project teams using Team software (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom or other remote meeting software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification upon hire
- Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification upon hire
- 3 years healthcare industry experience
- 2 years Chargemaster, Revenue Integrity experience
