ALLDATA LLC, the leading provider of automotive business solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join its Technology Infrastructure team.
Reports to: IT Manager
Position Summary
As a member of an innovative and high-performing Linux infrastructure team you will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our IT operations, product engineering, QA, and data service support teams. The Senior Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for servicing new and existing infrastructure, operating systems and application patching, participating in application and server modernization projects, maintaining monitoring systems, supporting compliance audit requests, and advocating for automation and application of industry best practices throughout the ALLDATA infrastructure.
Qualifications
The Senior Linux Systems Administrator should possess 6+ years of hands-on experience directly related to following:
- Extensive experience administrating Red Hat, Ubuntu, or any enterprise or community Linux platform, with minimal support, to include patching, package management, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security
- Advanced knowledge of application and server fault tolerance and load balancing services
- Extensive experience with scripting in Shell, Bash, Python, PHP, or Perl
- In-depth experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Experience with SAN/SCSI storage systems, network attached storage systems, NFS
- Healthy understanding of ESXi & vCenter, Acropolis, VxRail, or any converged/hyperconverged system
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Kanban development methodologies
- Good to have experience with incident management, change control management, and problem management support processes and methodologies
- Good to have experience working with development tools including Git, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, CI/CD tools, and Jira
- Good to know Docker or Kubernetes
- Good to have experience with Google Cloud Platform

Salary Range: $95,000 – $166,000
