USA Brand Marketing Manager (Education) – Texas

Location: Texas, USA, 100% remote work-from-home position (You must permanently live and have the right to work in the United States to apply for this position)

Pay Rate: $25.50 USD per hour ($50,000 USD per year)

Contract: 6-month contract with an extension highly likely. Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes. No benefits.

The Role:

We are looking for a fast-paced, go-getting, and creative marketeer who will thrive on the challenge of taking Twinkl USA’s in-country brand marketing to the next level of awesomeness to ensure that every single educator in the United States knows and loves Twinkl! This person will live and breathe the Twinkl brand and will confidently ideate and coordinate viral social media, email, and merchandise campaigns with the support of their own team of Marketing Assistants.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators:

You’ll be responsible for driving brand awareness across the United States. As a direct result of your ambitious and creative brand marketing actions, you will increase referrals, sign-ups, and conversions. You’ll connect educators, schools, and districts across the United States with the Twinkl website and ensure they understand the USPs of Twinkl.

  • You’ll ideate, coordinate, execute, track, and report on seasonal and topical digital marketing campaigns ensuring each campaign hits (and smashes!) its KPIs.
  • You’ll ideate, execute, track, and report on paid social media advertising campaigns, ensuring they hit (and smash!) their KPIs.
  • You’ll analyze data to inform your marketing actions every day using internal and external data sources.
  • You’ll run Twinkl USA’s main brand channels on Facebook and Twitter.
  • You’ll run Twinkl USA’s ambassadors program, ensuring that every member of the marketing team, including yourself, has a consistent flow of new and experienced ambassadors spreading the Twinkl word and increasing brand awareness in the United States.
  • You’ll attend and showcase Twinkl at online and in-person events across the United States.
  • You’ll confidently connect the dots from Twinkl to B2C and B2B customers through video and in-person communications.
  • You’ll be responsible for delivering month-on-month and year-on-year increases in referrals, sign-ups, and conversions from your marketing actions and from the actions of your team.
  • You’ll lead a team of dedicated Marketing Assistants, ensuring they are supported in meeting their KPIs and that they are invested in the brand campaigns you coordinate.
  • You’ll highlight and demonstrate the benefits of Twinkl through your marketing actions and, in doing so, grow Twinkl’s market in the United States.
  • You’ll join a hard-working team of United States-based Twinkl team members with additional support from Twinkl HQ in the U.K.

This exciting, fast-paced marketing role involves strategic planning and reactive work as you pivot and respond to the needs of the market.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will have the following skillset:

  • 4-year marketing or brand marketing degree from an accredited college
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional brand marketing role with increasing responsibility
  • Digital portfolio of successful campaigns
  • Google Analytics pro
  • Social media savviness – TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn – you must LOVE social media marketing and be able to jump on every trend and opportunity
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about K-12 education in the USA.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Up-to-the-minute tech skills
  • Commercial thinker who is comfortable taking calculated risks and being held accountable for successes and failures.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and motivate those around them.
