Job Overview:
- This role will utilize product and project management abilities to support our trading platforms as LPL expands our distribution models and capabilities through increased recruiting, mergers, acquisitions, as well as our ability to retain advisors and large enterprises.
- Individuals in this role must have a full understanding of, and ability to explain, Alternative Investments and must be able to work with numerous business units across the firm.
- The teams’ goal is to strengthen our existing platform through maintaining, tracking and prioritizing enhancements for implementation. Continuously evaluate new industry features for adoption thereby ensuring our advisors an industry leading experience.
Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert on our users and their needs by conducting customer interviews, reviewing product analytics, hosting user feedback sessions, and aggregating insight from internal partners
- Liaison with Business Stakeholders, Business Product, Solution Architecture, and Development/Engineering teams to build the vision, strategy, and product technology roadmap
- Be the voice of the customer and stakeholders in the team
- Gain in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the product and features, and communicate them to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Create the functional requirements through Epics & well-groomed User Stories to translate the product vision into atomic units, complete with robust acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements
- Own and lead the team’s backlog. Lead the development team through all activities to support Sprint activities
- Create workflows based on requirements using LucidChart, Visio
- Create scenarios, scripts, test data and review with stakeholders. Conduct demos of product with business and technology stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance or related fields
- 2+ years of Alternative Investments Industry experience
- 1+ Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Demonstrated experience as Product Lead or Business Analyst

- Ability to work on a cross-functional team and drive outcomes, in some cases without having direct authority
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives
- Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations.
- Comfortable working independently, adapting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer focus with a strong bias for action
- Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player
Preferences:
- Experience in a client-facing role and/or the financial services industry, preferably within a broker-dealer, RIA, investment or financial services firm
- Agile and/or SAFe trainings and certifications
- Knowledge of UI/UX fundamental principal
Pay Range:
$80,760-$121,140/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
