NEP’s Level 1 Tech Support will provide technical support to end-users. The help desk is the link between users and the internal resources that monitor, operate, and develop the service. The purpose is to ensure that users have their issues resolved, prioritized & escalated quickly and correctly, providing a good service & product experience. A nnual pay range is $50,000 to $65,000.
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and assist with all product tutorials, certificate renewals, database restores, replications, and hardware/network
- Provide technical support for new user requests, login/ password issues.
- Escalate issues as appropriate to the proper teams
- Provide status updates as requested or needed for issues being worked
- Follow all processes and procedures as they have been established
- Document all issues encountered and create support tickets
- Provide support for other products in the business
Requirements
- A degree in systems, network or broadcast engineering
- Experience, within help desk/support / customer service or in similar customer-oriented functions
- Motivated by creating customer value and an understanding of what is required to ensure that users are satisfied with solutions.
- Ability to communicate with end users effectively.
- Experience with scripting
- Experience with using containers
