Job Summary
The Manager – Work Control & EH&S is accountable for the planning and scheduling of Preventative and Corrective Maintenance activities across the Enterprise portfolio and the tracking of assets within the TRIRIGA database.
Oversees supervision of work which includes work allocation, training, promotion, enforcement of internal procedures and controls. Also leads problem resolution, evaluates performance and makes recommendation to achieve peak productivity and performance.
Provides oversight to ensure completion of Industrial Safety functions including compliance with all regulatory/ PSEG program requirements as well as the development and implementation of improvement plans to support initiatives to reach top performance in Industrial Safety within Corporate Real Estate / Centralized Facility Maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for the safe, environmentally compliant and effective execution of Facility Maintenance and Lab Testing Services work scope within budget and schedule
- Oversee Industrial Safety functions including compliance with all regulatory/ PSEG program requirements as well as the development and implementation of improvement plans to support initiatives to reach top performance in safety
- Daily supervision, monitoring, coaching, development, and performance management of professional associates
- Manage all schedules associated with FM & LTS maintenance. Integrated Work Management Processes and associated schedules. Managed and develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs, using the results of these programs to develop long range maintenance plans
- Develop, continuous review, ownership, and adherence to Key Performance Indicators in Work Measurement Reports and Industrial Safety
- Develop and manage the work management budget and expenditures.
Job Specific Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge):
- BS in an Engineering discipline or 8-10 years relevant experience
- 3-5 Years Supervisory / Management experience
- 3-5 Years’ experience with Integrated Work Management Systems (IWMMS) such as TRIRIGA and / or SAP.
- 4-6 Years’ experience in management and oversight of Industrial Safety programs
Desired Qualifications:
- BS in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Safety Certification such as ASP, CSP or CUSA
- Working knowledge of Facility Maintenance operations at large facility plants
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Previous work control management experience
- 5 years’ experience in power generation, outage management, maintenance planning, and/or capital projects planning
