Lucid is looking for a Senior Corporate & Securities Paralegal to join our Legal Team! We are looking for an experienced paralegal who will help provide excellent legal services on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters, including supporting Lucid’s international expansion efforts. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, can effectively prioritize, and be responsive, all while maintaining excellent relationships with internal clients. In this role, you will report to the Associate General Counsel of Corporate and Securities.
You Will:
- Establish and maintain international corporate subsidiaries, subsidiary director and officer information, corporate recordkeeping, governance policies, and related compliance processes
- Assist with M&A and other strategic transactions, including providing due diligence support, data room management, and preparing and organizing deal documents
- Assist with SEC filings (including Section 16 reporting, proxy statements, Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K), board and committee meeting preparation and materials, and annual stockholder meeting matters, as needed
- Partner with other teams within the company and external parties to ensure efficient workflow and handling of requests
- Think about and implement scalable processes to help Lucid continue to grow in an effective and efficient manner
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of public company corporate paralegal experience required
- Bonus points for having combined top-tier law firm and public company in-house experience, speaking a foreign language, working with Section 16 reporting (Form 4s), and navigating the Boardvantage board portal software
- Excellent communication skills and customer service approach
- Team player who effectively manages responsibilities as unexpected issues arise
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Docusign, and Adobe Sign
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $131,000 – 170,000 annually
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
