This role will assist the team in working across Goldman Sachs to grow our presence across corporate America with a focus on Strategic Sales (private to public transactions, private equity, hedge funds, investment firms, professional services, international opportunities).
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
• Proactively identify strategic opportunities and inform next steps by analyzing client connectivity via Ayco as well as among other divisions of the firm (Investment Banking, Private Wealth Management, etc.) to amplify sales efforts and drive business
• Provide recommendations/feedback on opportunities to demonstrate understanding of appropriate business selection, sales process and program implementation
• Analyze detailed data and draw conclusions from data to be able to confidently provide recommendations around program design/next steps
• Maintain and organize regional institutional opportunities and assist with documentation and follow-up from client discussions, both internally and externally
• Create and execute marketing materials while ensuring consistent branding and messaging, and maximizing impact across strategic initiatives and business development
• Identify, collaborate and communicate as needed with appropriate internal teams (regionally and cross-regionally) to coordinate the sales process from initial pitch to program implementation (Regional Business Developers, Relationship Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Senior Leaders, advisors, etc.)
• Confidently build strong relationships with internal counterparts ranging from Partners at the firm to peers
• Assist the team with other initiatives as requested

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s Degree required, with major coursework in marketing or other business-related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the marketing, sales and/or financial industry preferred
• Ability to work with teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word
• Experience in Salesforce preferred
• Project management skills and strong independent decision-making skills
• Presentation and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet Ayco’s high work quality standards
• Organizational skills and ability to act with a sense of urgency (will often be working under prospect/client-imposed deadlines)
• Ability to effectively prioritize work, multi-task and handle last minute prospect/client requests

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this San Francisco, California, United States-based position is $60000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
