KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Perform all job duties relating to Company Store operation.
- Needs to be able to keep an accurate inventory of items stored in the Company Store.
- Will supervise and train at least three direct reports as store attendants.
- Responsible for having store adequately staffed for operations and stocking inventory.
- Places and oversees weekly inventory orders.
- Check pricing on invoices, setting mark-up price, and ensuring prices are lower than local retail stores.
- Weekly inventory reconciliation and quarterly full inventory count.
- Oversees checking expiration dates and rotating items for FIFO.
- Will decide what items are sold and how to determine the selection as well as pricing.
- Ensure clothing items include all Nestlé brands.
- Make sure the store is making enough to cover sales and expenses.
- Will run specials if product is coming closer to expiration dates, etc. and drive engagement
- $70K in sales roughly, margin covers the FFOH to run the store and any depreciation
- Expected to attend work in a timely manner
- Project a professional favorable attitude toward all persons who come to the Company Store for service.
- Will report any problems with individuals to the Department Manager, therefore avoiding verbal confrontations with other team members.
- Able to perform special projects and/or tasks as requested by Manager in a timely manner.
- Will provide credit card sales receipts to Finance each week.
- Team members shall understand and follow factory management systems for human safety, food safety and/or environmental management. Understand and actively work toward achieving management system targets and objectives.
- Team members shall follow the plant rules, procedures, and/or practices related to management systems.
- Team members will report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the appropriate management system on all related procedures and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Computer literate, Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work with team members at all levels in a courteous and professional manner.
- Must be able to handle confidential information in a responsible manner
SKILLS:
- Ability to multi-task, good organizational skills, analytical thinker, good judgment, and the ability to make sound decisions.
