E-Commerce Analyst

As an Ecommerce Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing key metrics about our business and its performance which you will use to generate insights and reports for marketing, user experience, and overall strategy.

The ideal candidate will be both curious and analytical. You should be adept at data mining, business intelligence, report writing, creating dashboards, and process optimization. You should be knowledgeable on a broad range of e-commerce activities and how they tie to conversion rate, CAC, LTV, Cohorts and more.

Requirements

  • Build reporting and dashboards to support e-commerce goals and KPIs, looking at daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics.
  • Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Identifying key areas for improvements, such as audience, acquisition, behavior, and conversions.
  • Researching competitors, alternative markets, and opportunities in the e-commerce space.
  • Reporting and acting on changes and market trends.
  • Analyze the behavior of customers and how they interact with e-commerce initiatives, look for opportunities to further build LTV and customer advocacy.
  • Analyze and report on Customer Acquisition Costs and Cohort LTV by acquisition channel and campaign.
  • Analysis and recommendations regarding what cohorts, user groups and demographics are worth acquiring.
  • Analysis of area lifts to do campaign CAC/ROI analysis for OTT and Field Marketing.
  • Develop CAC/ROI analysis and tracking for influencer and affiliate programs.
  • Implementation of tools to manage attribution analysis and reporting across all channels.
  • Proactively identifying areas of opportunity that data can support.

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as an email analyst or similar role for 3+ years.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other similar analytics platforms
  • Experience working with E-Commerce platforms. Magento BI experience and Shopify Plus experience preferred.
  • Understanding of e-commerce terminology and measures
  • Highly organized, analytical, and technically-minded
  • Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to identify opportunities and ability to communicate those opportunities in an actionable manner.
  • Able to orient data analytics insights with the end-user in mind
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver.

This job is an in-person role, with the expectation of spending at least 4 days a week in the office.

Base Compensation Range: $60,000-$90,000 annually plus performance incentives.
