Job Description:
1. Coordinates the development and delivery of complex CTT training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
2. Establishes and reviews CTT course content and objectives.
3. Provides insight to government representatives and stakeholders with determining applicability of current Electronic Warfare Principles, and Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTP).
4. Provides instructor training on the AN/SLQ-32(V), BEWT I/II, SEWTT, and JTT systems.
5. Participate in training related test evens such as: ACTS/BFTT/ATD.
5. Provides work leadership to junior employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
7. Knowledge and leadership to serve as primary CTT trainer during all SCSTC Advance Warfare Training events.
8. Conducts research into new CTT training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.
10. Participates in special projects as required.
11. Position may require travel to instruct at other learning sites or off-shift hours as required to support customer.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate minimum five (5) years of specialized shipboard experience as a qualified AN/SLQ-32(V), BEWT I/II, SEWTT, and JTT systems operator/technician. To include knowledge and skills to perform advanced tactical system employment with knowledge in Anti-Ship Missile Defense, Embedded Training Systems trouble-shooting, Joint Tactical Terminal Maritime, and the Integration of Electronic Warfare to AEGIS and SSDS. Of the five years, one (1) year experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
Must have at least two deployments of watch-station assigned as Electronic Warfare Supervisor with one being on AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Supervisor. Achieved rank as CTT2 or higher (preferred).
Experience as a Trainer in support of SCSTC, Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 9502, and Master Training Specialist is a significant plus. Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing. Travel may be required up to 20% of time. Required to present COVID vaccination status.
The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 – $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
