Overview
Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician at our service center in Warwick, RI. The Automotive Technician performs car service, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service on a fleet of late model rental vehicles- minimal customer interaction involved!
This is an hourly position with pay based on ASE certifications. Minimum starting pay is $28.60 / hour plus an additional $1/hour for each qualified ASE over the required four and up to a maximum of eight ASE’s.
Weekday shifts starting at 3pm or later and all weekend shifts also qualify for a $2/hour shift differential.
Additionally, this position comes with a $500 tool allowance upon hire and an additional $250 annual tool allowance!
Employees will also have the opportunity to earn annual merit increases based on performance. The current maximum rate of pay for this position is $40.20 / hour. This is a Full-Time position working 40hrs/week based out of our Maintenance Service Center Facility, located at:

Responsibilities
- Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
- Complete required manufacturer’s training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
- Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
- Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least four (4) ASE Certifications (A1-A9)
- Minimum of 6 months experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities in a work-center atmosphere or a certificate of completion from a technical school for automotive program completion
- Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities
- Must have a valid US driver’s license for at least one year with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related incidents within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be willing to accept $28.60 per hour plus $1/hour for each qualified ASE over the minimum requirement of four and up to a maximum of eight, plus a $2/hour shift differential for weekday shifts started at 3pm or later and all weekend shifts.
- Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following schedule:
