The Institutional Annuities (IA) Client Services & Operations Team is looking for a Senior Associate level candidate to help drive service excellence and technology modernization. The candidate will report to the IA’s COO and play a critical role in enhancing our operations and providing oversight of service standards, quality, and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements. A continuous improvement mindset is required, with the ability to identify and articulate opportunities to enhance our capabilities and participant experience. The candidate will also play a key role in coordinating special projects and must be highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) market and the team’s services, procedures, and administrative systems
- Leverage data to monitor, assess and report on service levels. Partner with the PRT Client Services & Operations management team to set priorities and organize workflows
- Ensure service quality through call monitoring and transaction approvals
- Identify and recommend new tools and processes to continually improve our capabilities, complete transactions more efficiently, and support new PRT sales
- Maintain service standards and procedures consistent with market expectations and regulatory requirements
- Update and maintain business continuity plan and record retention guidelines
- Participate in special projects identified by the group and/or senior management
- Maintain relationship with business partners in Technology and Risk and serve as the primary point of contact
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years related work experience
- Knowledge of annuity service and operations and applicable regulations preferred
- Knowledge of policy administration systems a plus
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage changing priorities; must be well organized and have excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Comfort and confidence in interactions with all levels in the organization
- Strong leadership and analytical skills

Salary range: $80,000-$120,000
