WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Plant Manager and the Raw Material Supervisor, this position inspects and determines the level of repair pallets needs, following established repair criteria. Repair pallet using provided tools, wood components, and proper process and procedures. Sort pallets accurately, based on appropriate quality and grade, as determined through inspection and repair process and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Ability to operate forklift, air gun, hammer and any other equipment required to perform duties.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with peers, customers, and superiors.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
