Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000

City Experiences is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy for our Marketing operation in New York, NY.

About the Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our digital presence, with the ultimate goal of driving brand awareness, user engagement, and incremental revenue, with a strong focus on business data, social analytics and social listening.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supports in the management of City Experience’s social media channels representing a global portfolio of experiences on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and other platforms to maximize engagement, conversion and advocacy.
• Develop and implement our organic social media strategy.
• Work with creative and brand strategy teams to ideate meaningful and actionable content, and ensuring brand consistency.
• Develops and maintains the social media campaigns and calendar in accordance with our marketing priorities and business objectives.
• Assists in the production and content capture of assets, including independently and via third parties.
• Lead user generated content strategy and implementation across social and other owned marketing channels.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies and identify emerging social platform features and creative opportunities and lead in bringing them to life.
• Act as SME within the organization, fielding queries and providing guidance to inquiring teams.
• Establish social listening practices, monitoring and reporting on online discussion, and identifying real-time opportunities for engagement.
• Leverage social listening to execute ongoing competitive analysis and trends research.
• Partners closely with stakeholders across the organization to create content plans that are relevant to our customers and reflect brand voice and identity.
• Ideates around upcoming City Experiences milestones, stories, and moments to translate into social concepts.
• Work with customer service and communications teams to escalate adverse events.
• Provide monthly and quarterly analytics reporting on activity, growth and engagement, and to analyze performance to inform upcoming strategy.
• Define KPI benchmarks, with deep and proficient understanding of social media metrics.
• Build a strong influencer database and industry network to tap into to meet our goals and grow business.
• Support communications team on any crisis comms occurrences with posting statements and monitoring across social platforms
• Manage and cultivate the career development of social managers.
• Supports Communications and Social team with additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years marketing experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills
• Strong background in analytics with the ability to report, analyze and make data-driven decisions
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high quality work, multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media best practices, including shifting functionality, capabilities, and trends
• Demonstrate the ability to organize and evaluate content for meeting the goals and standards of City Experiences.
• Ability to interact with people at different levels, including developing and maintaining ongoing relationships.
• Track record of creating and managing influencer campaigns with agencies and influencer platforms, and directly with talent
• Hands-on experience with social publishing, analytics and listening tools such as Sprout, Socialbakers, Social Studio, Sprinklr, Khoros, Curalate (Social Commerce by Bazaarvoice), Hootsuite (and Sparkcentral), Crowdriff, Pixlee, Brandwatch (Crimson Hexagon)
• Familiarity with design platforms such as Canva, Photoshop, and others
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
• Available for some travel (15%)
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
