Epicor Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and administering all information technology systems with an emphasis on supporting the company’s Epicor ERP system while reporting directly to the IT Manager.
Major Responsibilities: reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:
- Create BAQs/Dashboards/Reports, including data sources other than Epicor
- Deploy modules and implement module features
- Utilize SQL tools for the purpose of monitoring backups, restoring databases
- New employee training as well as ongoing user training
- Maintain Epicor environment with the timely application of patches and upgrades
- Assist with network management and maintenance
- Add/remove users from Active Directory, AzureAD, Epicor ERP, and other software as needed
- Troubleshooting software and network related issues (Internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Identify, research, and resolve basic computer system malfunctions and software problems
- Administration and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other hardware
- Set-up/troubleshoot workstations and printers
- Respond and/or generate IT tickets
- Assist in organizing and executing workstation moves
- Inventory and asset management
- Keep the IT office and storage organized and clean
- Assist other departments as needed with various tasks and projects
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of Epicor ERP. Ability to maintain, customize, develop reports within Epicor
Expert knowledge of data analytics, SQL, and data warehousing - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AzureAD and Office 365
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS, routers, switches, access points and other IT resources
- Help-Desk experience using various tools such as Pulseway, FreshDesk, ServiceNow, RMM, Bomgar, etc.
- Working knowledge of Egnyte cloud data storage is a plus but not required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Able to adapt and learn new things quickly
- Willingness and ability to work outside of normal working hours to accommodate project work that must occur
- Willingness to take direction and work with all levels of the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Candidate should be service oriented and have a genuine concern for needs of the staff
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field such as computer science, technical support, and information technology
- Epicor University training course certification highly desired
- 5+ years in computer networks solutions, operating systems, or other IT-related positions
- AA CompTIA A+ certification for computer technology (exclusions may apply, particularly for web-development computer technicians)
- ITIL Certifications preferred with equivalent work experience
Targeted Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 annually
