Sr. Desktop Support Role!
In the role, you will support the Enterprise IT Team with Telecommunications ensuring the utilization of hardware, software and communication systems are consistent with the Global IT Strategy. This role sits in Louisville, KY.
- You will provide onsite support, working closely with centrally provided IT services including design, operations and service desk to meet the agreed service levels.
- Build the relationship between IT and the Business to become the recognized and valued partner for the delivery of IT Service.
- Specific responsibilities of Planning & Administration.
- Provide information and assist IT Service Delivery Manager with IT budgeting and cost control.
- Assists users with business proposal generation, regarding our standards and policies IT Infrastructure & Support.
- Support and maintain the IT Infrastructure asset management – including Hardware lifecycle management and SW licensing.
- Support and maintain the IT Infrastructure audit compliance.
- Support the appropriate level of service for a centrally provided and maintained IT Infrastructure for: server, clients, printers and other standardized peripherals, data communication (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN access and required components), voice communication (local and remote).
What Do You Need To Be Successful In This Role?
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within a general IT environment.
- Previous experience in supporting clients, servers, communication equipment (preferably CISCO).
- A minimum understanding of VMware ESXi / VCenter, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Cisco networking, CITRIX, MS Remote Access, IP networking administration and services including DNS, DHCP, Security & Compliance tools (e.g., Ivanti/LANDesk, WSUS, Symantec, FireEye), Active Directory, GPO & policy design and support and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems 7 – 10.
- College/University degree in a related field or experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

The payrate is between $30.00 – $39.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
