Job Title: Shipping/Stockroom Associate

Overview:

All positions require physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, bending and grasping. Employees have to be able to frequently lift material up to 40 lbs. and can stand for an 8-hour shift.We provide training and information on body mechanics, accurate lifting techniques, and stretching routines to enable employees to protect themselves from harm!

What You’ll Bring:

-Exert force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.

-Bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.

-Listen/Read to understand information and ideas presented.

-Arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, and mathematical operations).

-Quickly move hands, grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks.

-Stack or pile materials, such as bins, boxes, or pallets.

-Receive, Put-away, Pick, Deliver and Pack items according to specific processes.

-Record number of units handled and moved, using daily production sheet or work tickets.

-Attach material identification tags/label information on containers.

-Cleans work area, using brooms, rags, and cleaning compounds.
