Job Description

Curinos is currently seeking an Enterprise Software Product Manager – Mortgage & Consumer Lending to support the rapid growing suite of B2B SaaS lending analytics and optimization products. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology product management, with a background in secured and/or unsecured lending, interest rate pricing strategy, Product and Pricing Engines (PPE) or adjacent areas of expertise. This position is a remote position, with potential to move to a hybrid model, with the ideal candidate working remotely from the Dallas or New York City area, or from one of our other Curinos hubs (Boston, Chicago, LA, Toronto).

The Enterprise Software Product Manager – Mortgage & Consumer Lending will be responsible for key products in our suite of B2B SaaS lending analytics and optimization platforms. These applications serve our financial institution customers’ needs to monitor lending performance, optimize revenue, and increase lending volume.

The Enterprise Software Product Manager – Mortgage & Consumer Lending is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycles, bringing product features from concept to reality. They work closely with Business Owners as well as our full stack Engineering teams, as the conduit in the middle that “speaks both languages”. Taking the high-level direction and industry targets from our Business Owners, the Product Manager is responsible for creating and implementing a strategic roadmap to accomplish these directives. They will drive all steps of the development process, from collaboration with SMEs, to customer interviews, to ideating on workflows with the UX team, to specs, designs, and the final build with Engineering and QA colleagues. Our Product Management team is expected to work closely with our users and internal Client Services team to build and maintain expertise in how our clients use these analytic decision support tools to drive intelligent business decisions.

The Enterprise Software Product Manager – Mortgage & Consumer Lending ust execute on responsibilities associated with traditional agile Product Owner position, such as:

  • Translate roadmap objectives into future product requirements and development plans, coordinating closely with industry experts, business owners, UX designers, Client Services teams, clients, and more
  • Manage the strategic tradeoff between investment across support efficiency initiatives, platforms, tech debt, and new features
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Learning teams on market or user facing materials Manage, track, and update the highly detailed near-term roadmaps and project plans
  • Create detailed requirements documents – from high level BRDs to feature level stories, often requiring solid technical understanding of the underlying data process flows or methodology
  • Work with engineering teams in every step of development to successfully translate user needs, business requirements, and specifications into functional products efficiently and quickly
  • Advocate for our end client users throughout the development and design process, with a solid understanding of the reasons, and ways, they use our products
  • Create / manage product backlogs; participate in and/or lead agile development ceremonies
  • Closely partner with the QA team to provide acceptance criteria on collaborate on release signoffs

In partnership with Product Leadership the Product Manager must also:

  • Create and manage the product’s long term strategic roadmap, in consultation with Business Owners and other stakeholders – optimizing for product revenue
  • Define future product features, with a tangible understanding of the underlying technologies and datasets
  • Lead and track the management and execution of quarterly product OKRs – beginning with setting Objectives in line with the product’s strategic roadmap
  • Analyze user data and industry or competitor research to identify trends and insights that will facilitate product success
  • Be the go-to expert for the value proposition of your product, and dedicated towards its success

Base Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

You are well versed in banking, particularly in the mortgage and consumer lending domain. You have a deep understanding of lending data and analytics, including pricing, profitability, risk, and performance. You excel at understanding and communicating complex ideas. You stay on schedule and can handle juggling several different priorities, driving each forward independently. You have a good grasp of future high-level goals and can keep them in mind when determining what to do next. You are a technical thinker and can get in the weeds to understand software technologies to help drive product decisions. It is exceptionally important to you that things be done correctly. You value efficiency and are a proactive fixer. You know it is your responsibility to anticipate challenges and mitigate risks. You evangelize your product and exude enthusiasm during demos. You can talk to business partners or engineers with equal ease. You are an agile enthusiast.

Desired background and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in lending data, products or analytics; mortgage experience preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management or ownership, solutions development, quality assurance management, or client services
  • Strong analytical capabilities including the ability to interpret and explain complex systems and ideas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for data presentation and user experience optimization
  • Ability to work independently; demonstrated ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, and changing environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
  • Experience with technologies or platforms such as Tableau, Jira, SQL, Databricks, or Python is a plus
