Essential Functions:

  1. Balance and reconcile the input and output of claims, premium, financial, and decision support systems.
  2. Identify and work with IT Systems staff to resolve any out of balance conditions.
  3. Track and document the resolution of out of balance conditions.
  4. Respond to internal and external auditors regarding the balancing and control function.
  5. Reconcile dividend and commission expenses and prepare the necessary expense accounting adjustment entries.
  6. Prepare all necessary accounting entries for the monthly transaction journal.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to assure the quality of production and adequacy of controls.
  8. Assist IT Operations in adhering to production schedules.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: 2-years of computer science coursework, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 3 years experience in a technical field.

Salary: $31,100 – $46,700

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position is a full time salaried, exempt (non overtime eligible) position **** Change FT or PT status accordingly. Also Exempt VS non Exempt
