As an industry-leading communication infrastructure provider across the U.S., Crown Castle is at the center of bringing information to and enabling innovation for the people and businesses that need them. The Data and Digital team provides innovative microservice and event-based solutions, utilizing open-source technologies in the cloud, to deliver critical data, geo-spatial, and logistic capabilities to our customers.
As a Product Manager (II) you will serve as the Product Manager to support critical business processes and drive tangible value to the organization. The Product Manager (II) will be a subject matter expert and “go-to” for one or more products. You will develop and drive a compelling product visions for your product(s).
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross functional team, including engineering, and other business teams, through the product development lifecycle to achieve business goals
- Build and leverage deep business domain expertise, product, and technical knowledge to translate business problems into strategic product roadmaps, requirements, and insights, including long-term vision, for end-to-end solution delivery
- Build business cases using competitive and business analysis, market, and customer research
- Identify problems and gaps, facilitate decision making, propose and manage the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Drive prioritization activities including management of trade-offs between cost, schedule, and customer benefit
- Develop and present frameworks to support product vision and strategies
- Engage with stakeholders to drive improvement in key business metrics and provide customer-friendly product experiences
- Engage with stakeholders to understand our most pressing business opportunities and priorities and work with them to produce a strategy, product roadmap and execution plan for digital innovation
- Develop and implement product plans and manage communication and engagement with key stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Effectively engage with technical teams to deliver features with minimal ambiguity and clear use cases/acceptance criteria; include/exclude the right set of user stories to deliver the most impact

- Evangelize product management philosophies through data-driven decision making; be an agent of cultural change towards a data driven enterprise.
- Ability to develop and carry out targeted plans to influence decisions of key customer decision makers based on their unique concerns and interests
- Experience creating and using delivery metrics, predictability, and forecasting; communicates and draws conclusions from a forecast and metrics
Education/Certifications
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline or equivalent work experience required
- Agile certifications
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years’ product management/development experience in at least one of the following domains: Finance, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, or Operations. Telecommunications/Wireless industry and products a plus
- 4+ years’ experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
- Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues.
- Experience defining product vision.
- Excellent teamwork skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably in an Agile environment
Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require up to 20% travel.
For New York City, Colorado, California and Washington residents – The hiring range offered for this position is $113,500 – $163,200 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 20% of annual salary and restricted stock. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
