SUMMARY:
- The Information Technology Infrastructure & Security Administrator proactively works to align business needs with Information Technology services by administering the Network, Compute, Storage, and Security systems throughout the organization. This position analyzes relevant information to recommend, implement, maintain, and monitor technical infrastructure and equipment that aligns with the business objectives of the organization
- Location: Normal, IL, with hybrid work opportunities available
- Pay: $75,000 – $87,000, negotiable for highly qualified candidates; based on experience, education, and certifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT INFRASTRUCTURE & SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR:
- Infrastructure and Asset Management: Monitors and maintains a consistent and reliable technical operations infrastructure. Works collaboratively and shares task assignment with all IT department staff to manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support on all IT systems and equipment, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, and other end-user devices.
- Data Security: Implements IT policies and procedures for security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Manages the implementation of disaster recovery plans in the event of an emergency that interrupts normal IS operations. Responsible for maintenance and security of the LAN/WAN. Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications, encryption, or virus protection software.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE IT INFRASTRUCTURE & SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, related field, OR equivalent experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification strongly preferred
- MCSA, Palo Alto, and/or, ITIL certifications preferred.
- A minimum of three years of relevant Information systems technical experience
