Office Manager – Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC)

The Office Manager is an integral member of our management team, providing oversight of the front desk and administrative support functions, supervising administrative support staff, working with insurance verifications, and working with the rest of the management team to improve the lives of people in need and to strengthen the community.

The Office Manager assists the CBHC Program Director and CBHC Assistant Program Director in managing the support functions required for the efficient and safe operation of the CBHC/Outpatient Center.

In this vital role, the Office Manager:

  • assists the CBHC Program Director and CBHC Assistant Program Director in the completion of weekly and monthly reports, including, but not limited to, , non-billed, held claims, denial report, authorization report, staff productivity and contract billing
  • develops procedures for ensuring that clinical staff receives sufficient administrative support necessary to carry out their responsibilities in serving individuals. This includes, but is not limited, providing supplies and necessary forms, scheduling office assignments and typing letters.
  • manages the cash, supplies and maintenance operations.
  • functions as the liaison to the administrative offices in Dedham for third party and contract billing.
  • In coordination with the administrative intake coordinator, develops and monitors procedures for verifying benefits and/or obtaining initial authorizations for new individuals.
  • tracks and budgets expenses; submits expense reports, check requests, etc. on at least a monthly basis.

Schedule: 40 hours; Full Time position with the flexibility of working one day a week remote.

Pay: $55,000 annual salary

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office, required.
  • Knowledge of billing practices preferred.

Required Experience

  • High School diploma
  • At least four years experiences in a health setting or related field
  • At least three years of supervisory experience in a similar setting
