Walmart Marketplace is a fast-growing curated community of third-party online sellers who offer millions of products to Walmart.com customers. The Seller Education Operations Manager will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager and will support the Seller Education team to help produce and maintain an ecosystem of engaging educational content for Marketplace sellers.

The ideal candidate is a bright, energetic, professional who will play an integral role in planning and facilitating content development projects while simultaneously managing an intake of educational content requests. They will have outstanding time management and communications skills, great attention to detail, and enthusiasm for tackling multiple complex projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Seller Education Operations Manager will be responsible for the planning, project management, final sign-off for activation and reporting on all seller education content and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Seller Education team with project management and execution of educational programs and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain annual and quarterly content production calendar to help maximize content production efficiency and throughput.
  • Oversee the intake process for all seller education requests, evaluate new requests to provide strategy recommendations and to ensure all required information is provided.
  • Develop operational plans to support new product releases with engaging educational content.
  • Coordinate and execute educational campaigns across multiple channels including email, Seller Help website, video tutorials, contextual help content, in-app messaging, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GTM (go-to-market), Seller Education, Legal, Program and Product, to ensure educational campaigns are launched on time and aligned with company objectives.
  • Regularly audit existing Seller Academy and Seller Help materials to ensure all information is current.
  • Check in with all stakeholders regularly to communicate SLAs, project status, and/or launch date changes.
  • Partner with the content team to define scope, ensure expected timelines and milestones are clearly indicated in project plans, lead communications, and escalate issues to stakeholders
  • Manage scheduling and project management tasks using the team’s calendar and project documentation tool, keeping it up-to-date and relevant for team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Monitor team effort, bandwidth, and work with team leads to load-balance for high-priority projects.
  • Manage and enforce internal work processes and SLAs.
  • Identify and escalate pain points and areas for improvement in a timely and positive manner.
  • Document Seller Education operational processes.

Qualifications

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management
  • Experience in marketing, training, instructional design, or sales enablement
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships and extend network across an entire Walmart Marketplace org
  • Strong understanding of content development capabilities and SLAs is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Applies innovative ideas and critical thinking to improve current and/or introduce new processes and workflows (internal and external), driving efficiencies
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Asana, and CMS is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
  • Ability to see other people’s point of view and receive criticism
  • Proven ability to create clarity in ambiguous circumstances, including in stakeholder conversations at the onset of a new project, gathering requirements or managing through revisions

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $97,500.00-$162,500.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1 year’s experience in project management or related field OR 3 years’ experience in project
management or related field.
2 years’ experience using Microsoft Office tools (for example, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
